During the past week, I kept looking at several kinds of portrait photography and felt so motivated to go out and take photos that one day after coming back to my apartment from class, I told my sister, Myra, I was going to use her as a subject for portrait photography. So a few days later, I curled her hair, did her makeup while she dressed herself. I decided to take advantage of the cherry blossoms at the University of Washington while it was still in bloom. It was my first time taking the Canon 7D out on the field but I’m pretty happy with the photos I took. It was pretty gloomy that day but we were lucky to get just enough sun.
Anyway, cheers to the launching of my new website with photos of Myra in spring!
