Out of town for spring break, I decided to visit my brother and sister in Miami. While I was there, my sister’s newly engaged friend and fiance, Isabela and Josh, visited her too. The couple just got engaged a few days prior and Isabel wanted photos taken of her and Josh. So after some awesome Cuban food, we walked to the famous beach and began our shoot from there. We started taking photos around noon and everyone knows how hard it is to shoot in that light; it creates harsh shadows, and in Miami, way too much heat to handle so we shot in the shade instead.
Two months into my first semester of art school, I noticed an improvement in myself, not in my photos but when I process them; I find myself not having to edit them as much anymore. I don’t have to fix the cropping, exposure or white balance as much as I did before since I found myself depending on Lightroom and Photoshop but now everything is pretty much done on camera.
By the way, can you spot my sister photo bombing?
